FALL CLASSIC

We rely on a team of volunteers to help put on a successful event.  If you don't plan to walk or run please consider volunteering!
Below is a brief description of the volunteer roles available.  If you have a preference please indicate it in the 'message' section of the volunteer form and we will try to accommodate your request.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Volunteer Roles
October 21st (10am to 4 pm, in 2 hour shifts)
Registration and bib distribution - check in entrants and hand out their bibs
Course markup - set up markers along the route to guide the walkers/runners


October 22nd (8am - 2pm latest)

Course Set-up and Tear Down – set up and tear down the finish line area etc.  If you have a pick up truck that would be very helpful.  Work completed by 2pm
Registration and Bib Distribution – check-In pre-registered entrants and sign in walk up entrants. Work completed by noon
Course Marshalls - there are several different roles we need help with: direct parking of cars, direct runners along the course, manage the finish line and hand out awards.  Work completed by 1pm
Food and Water Station Management - help set up and distribute refreshments to the walkers/runners. Work completed by 1:30pm

Without your help as a volunteer, the event cannot succeed.
